WiFi wireless networks may be vulnerable to cracking due to a recent exploit by a Moscow-based ‘password-recovery’ company — consequently, companies subject to privacy laws such as the FTC Red Flags Rule or the EU Directive on Data Protection may need to consider enhanced security measures such as the use of an encrypted virtual private network (VPN).
